I’ve said this before but when I headed off to Strathclyde Uni to do my PhD research, the head of department – Prof. MJ Russell – went to great pains to ensure that we understood the scientific method. Lessons I will never forget and am deeply grateful for since they help me slice and dice the leftist and popular BS regarding science with ease.

You see, as I have said before, science doesn’t prove anything. Science is a methodology in which you raise a hypothesis and offer it to your peers to critique. So, it is a process of iteration of a hypothesis or idea – the improvement of it by testing it in the flames of peer critique. Of course, that theory will also compete alongside other theories for mindshare but that acceptance or mindshare will always to purely temporary as the idea is to constantly refine and/or overthrow the prevailing theories. Egos being what they are, this mostly occurs on the death of some great scientist who is defending their reputation.

So, in out world of the dumb, led by the dumb whenever I hear science used to defend something, I cringe. These people are not using science but dogma and faith – something quite the opposite of science in fact and anathema to it, to defend a narrative. My blood boils when some mindless moron argues with me without knowing event the basics of science. Im sorry but I cant help it – there are now so many well intentioned morons arguing BS that I fear we are in deep do-do. Science is lost on these people – and increasingly it is lost on the new breed of college indoctrinated morons spouting stuff and nonsense simply cos its progressive. The very idea that science requires dissent is also lost on these people.

Just today, some brain dead lady had posted the biggest post of pure nonsense on Linked in about the Earth and environment. This half-baked essay was likely lifted from AI hallucinating but for her it was gospel. Ai is the god of wisdom and like the Popes of yesteryear incapable of being wrong. It is infallible. However, anyone with an O level in science and half a brain knew it was pure digital diarrhea.

But this is what we are up against. Brain dead ignoramuses who are dead certain they have it right promoting their assertions that Science has proven something. It’s deeply dangerous for our future but I think is only going to get worse. She was lambasted by some for her lack of knowledge but many others were happy to accept it and panic accordingly. Ignorance is dangerous and not knowing what you don’t know can be fatal. You see this often – the lady trying to feed the polar bear being a classic case in point.

We live in a world devoid of meaning and filled with narrative and belief. This means that is so very important to insure that we find meaning in our individual lives by being more creative, more in tune with nature and by balancing mind and heart. I do hope that in time we will get through this period – perhaps we will call it the age of dumb? – and find our way again as a species…
